Hi, I’m Sonia , a creative film producer and director with a love for telling stories that captivate. I’ve had the opportunity to work on various independent projects and have gained an unwavering love for film. I’m proud and grateful to have collaborated with talented teams on projects that push boundaries. Ive dedicated my time to brining people’s wildest ideas and visions into reality. My work often explores themes of human connection and identity. Although I have a particular passion for horror and thriller, I’ve gained an interest for romance and action. I’m drawn to stories that are unique and provoke thoughts while remaining grounded in authenticity. Past Projects
It all begins with an idea. Even the greatest film makers had to start from somewhere. "An idea without action is just a dream; with action, it becomes reality”. With experience producing photoshoots, this was my first time producing a short film. It’s called Decision Day, written and directed by Maishia Pringle. This Next film is my directorial debut.
I started my life in Los Angeles in 2019 pursuing a career in acting. I decided to write my own films to act in and give myself the chance I was always looking for. Who knew it would open the door to me directing it. This film is called Mafia. Inspired by my REAL birthday weekend, but with a deadly turn. FOUND FOOTAGE style. It’s about a girl celebrating her 28th birthday with her boyfriend and friends when the night takes a turn for the worse after they decide to play a game of Mafia.
